David graduated from BYU with both his undergraduate degree and his master's degree in public health. In addition to his BYU schooling, he also went to VCU and received his doctor of physical therapy. David is certified in dryneedling.
David is originally from Mesa, Arizona, has 4 kids, and moved to Star Valley in 2021. He enjoys cycling, playing with his kids, trying new things, and going on new adventures.
David was on BYU’s ballroom dancing team and used to make balloon animals for a job. While he was working in the public health field, he traveled to Cambodia and Ghana to help ease malaria.
Kara graduated from BYU-I (when it was still known as Ricks College) and got her associates in Health science. In addition to her BYU-I schooling, Kara went to Salt Lake Community College to become certified as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. Kara has been working as Boone's OTA for 20 years!
Kara loves spending time with her family and watching her kids play the many sports they are in. Kara also enjoys being outdoors - camping, hiking, fishing, hunting.
Alex received his undergraduate degree from BYU-Idaho. He attended Midwestern University to become a doctor of physical therapy. In addition to practicing physical therapy, Alex is currently a professor of Physical Therapy at College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.
Alex is a certified orthopedic care specialist and is certified in dryneedling. Alex conducts running evaluations to help you fine tune your running form!
Alex is an avid runner and coaches at local schools for track and cross country. He also enjoys spending time with his kids and hiking.
Catherine is the Office Manager here at Therapy works.
Catherine grew up in Canada but has spent most of her adult life on the east coast. Catherine has been living in Star Valley since 2019 and she enjoys time with family, photography, and being outdoors - camping, hiking, fishing, and kayaking
Teri works as a patient advocate and public relations liaison here at Therapy Works.
Teri was a CHP officer for 12 years. Teri enjoys dancing, photography, kayaking, hiking, and horseback riding. "Being on or near the water is my quan".
Laura has been an integral part of the team at Therapy Works fulfilling part-time and full-time responsibilities in many facets of the practice.
Laura is originally from California and Texas, and attended Ricks College where she met and married Boone. Together, they moved to Star Valley in 2002 to raise their 4 children, start their business, and build a forever home. Laura is a graduate of BYU Idaho, she enjoys being active in her church, and continues to work and serve in the Star Valley community. Laura enjoys dance & performing, and she has a strong interest in health and fitness. Family means everything to Laura so she is very passionate about her kids and their involvement in school sports and extracurriculars. Laura’s happy place is anywhere sunny, warm, and cozy!
